Running from March 6 – 15, 2020, this new high stakes poker event organised in partnership with Poker Central is set to bring to the Black Sea some insane poker action and the most famous names in the game.

As partypoker reports, the stellar lineup of players who have already confirmed their presence in Sochi includes the likes of Paul Phua, Richard Yong, Cary Katz, Rob Yong, Jason Koon, and Mikita Badziakouski.

'This is a very, very special event,' commented Casino Sochi Poker Club Manager and poker entrepreneur Artur Voskanyan.

The Largest Buy-in in Russia's Poker History

The SHRS features a total of eight events, with buy-ins starting from 'as little' as $25,000.

While all the tournaments in the calendar promise to entertain both the players and the public, everyone's eyes are already on Poker Central's Super High Roller Bowl Russia, an event that has already made history before its inaugural shuffle up and deal.

Scheduled to begin on Friday, March 13, this $250,000 buy-in three-day event is the highlight in the festival schedule — and also the most expensive poker event ever organised in Russia.

'Expanding into the Russian market with our tournament Super High Roller Bowl is a great moment for us at Poker Central,' stated in a note Poker Central's president Sam Simmons.

'Our team loves bringing poker events and content to players and audiences around the world, and we’re pleased to partner with partypoker in presenting these events to PokerGO.'
