Rules and Regulations of the Poker Room

• Players must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• The house does not extend credit, and side bets are not allowed.
• Management reserves the right to seat players where needed.
• English only, at and around the table area, during a hand in the live games and at all times in tournament play.
• Cash and personal items are not allowed on the table. All cash should be changed into chips immediately.
• Players may not discuss the hand while it is in progress.
• Showing cards to another player, whether in the hand or not, is prohibited. At the showdown, cards “speak”. Any hand face up on the table may be read by anyone at the table. A player must protect his/ her own hand and interest in the pot at all times.
• Players may not use a cell phone at the table.
• Players may not be gone from the table for more than 30 minutes.
• Players must conduct themselves with proper etiquette at all times as determined by management.
• Proper dress code is required at all times as determined by management.
• Management reserves the right to bar any person from entering the big easy room or big easy casino without obligation to give an explanation or show cause.
• Management’s decision is final.

Brian Altman of Boston Wins Main Event for $482,636

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood,Fla. concluded its 2020 Lucky Hearts Poker Open (LHPO) Wednesday. Besting 843entries in the WPT NLH Championship, Brian Altman, of Boston, Mass. madehistory by winning his second career WPT LHPO title for $482,636 plus a $15,000 entry into the season-endingBaccarat Crystal WPT Tournament of Champions.

“This is incredibly special. It’s amazing to bethe first person to win the same WPT event twice, and kind of cement myself inhistory with this event,” Altman said. “Obviously it’s fantastic to get bigwins, and when playing these events, I’m happy to put myself in a position togo deep, be chip leader and make final tables.”

The $3,500 finale boasted afinal prize pool of nearly $2.7 million, easily exceeding the $2 millionguarantee. The last 106 spots and the field made the money late on Day 2.

With1,404 entries, the event more than doubled the $500,000guarantee, creating a total prize pool of more than $1.3 million. Floridaresident William Muniz won the opener turning his $1,100 entry into $225,717.
